Hotel "Vila Monte" was nominated as a second best holiday place of the top 10 of the Algarve (tourist pocket Globus). The most significant of the guest house is completely mature garden with almost 100% privacy, including rounded swimming pool which is surrounded by trees and bushes where you will get hot sun of Algarve, dining and even more. All sorts of flowers are blossoming depending on the season. The garden around our vacation villa is about 3000 m2 and one side is along the golf course and tennis court. The holiday house consists of a front guest villa with swimming pool view and 2 double bedrooms, big living room with TV Canal Plus and fireplace and 2 bathrooms. On the second floor are 2 double bedrooms. That vacation villa is perfect for family's holiday and contains 4-8 persons. Back side of the house is one more terraced rental villa with 2 double bedrooms, bathroom with a bath and bidet, living room and kitchen ( 4 persons max) These both parts can be rented independently or together. The idea is that you can choose the B&B service for one person or pay per double room. Also you can book the front villa total for your romantic private vacation. You are welcomed by friendly hostess who will provide you a nice breakfast daily. You can walk through a beautiful old Roman road and in 15 minutes reach your morning cup of coffee with a cake in one of the old Portuguese squares. There are also three supermarkets here and several restaurants. For real shopping you should go to the biggest fish town Olhão. You will find several supermarkets there like "Intermarche", "Lidl", "Modelo" etc. and many nice fish restaurants. It's very close to the beaches of islands Armona, Culatra, Farol from there. The biggest new shopping centre is situated in Tavira. It's the best ancient city of the Algarve. That famous historical site was escaped from earthquake. Moncarapacho is in the eastern Algarve about 25 km from Faro airport. Along the Faro is the famous nature reserve Ria Formosa with beautiful lagoons, islands, beaches, etc. 40 km long. That area was included in top 10 on September 2009 as the best finest beaches of the World. Moncarapacho is ideally situated near (1 km) motorway A22 (v / h IP1). So you need only 15 minutes to get Tavira, 30 minutes Ayamonte (Spain). And on the West are Loulé, Vilamoura, Albufeira, Carvoeiro, Portimão, Alvor and Lagos. Also you can reach Lisbon from here within 2,5 hours. So, as you see it’s very easy to make the best city trips, rural tourism or visit beautiful islands. 							Area and Environs: The Algarve is the southern region of Portugal and it's one of Europe's favourite holiday destinations well known for glorious year round sunshine and excellent sandy beaches. Algarve is ideal for anyone planning the perfect holiday or even considering relocating to the Algarve. São Brás de Alportel is historical centre of Algarve. The tranquil, unhurried lifestyle of the friendly local population. Streets of white houses whose ranks are broken only by the lofty outline of the church and its bell tower. The ring of hills around, the town that look out on the sea and the mountains. Such are the simple charms of São Brás de Alportel, a typical Algarve town. Moncarapacho From Olhão to Moncarapacho the distance is short (about 3 miles by the Estrada Nacional 398, passing through Quelfes); by the IP1 road, the distance is even shorter: less than two miles to reach this agreable village, lying between orchards, carob-shrubs and almond-trees. Fuzeta Born of the sand and the sea, Fuzeta is a fishermen´s village near Olhão, and can be reached by the Estrada Nacional 125. Its whitewashed and square-shaped houses, typical of the district, stretch almost until the sea, with flat roof terraces exhibiting tall lattice chimneys. The Islands and Beaches Farol and Armona are the islands situated close to Olhão and that can be quickly reached by boats that make regular trips, specially during Summer. Tavira along with Lagos is one of the most architecturally attractive towns in the Algarve and its origin dates back to around 2.000 BC. During the occupation of the Algarve by the Moors this town was considered of great importance due to its fishing industry. Ilha da Tavira - There are regular ferry crossings to this island, whuch lies opposite the city and has long beaches and suoort facilities. Cabanas - Seperated by an arm of the Ria Formosa, Cabanas is quite and isolated. It can be reached by boat from Tavira. Resort Quinta Velha Conceição - Opposite the village of the same name. Reached by boat. Extensive beach. Very calm. Santa Luzia - A vast beach that offers hours of solitude, coupled with the pleasure of warm, clear waters. Barril - Barril is long enough to encompass both the cosmopolitan atmosphere and near complete isolation.
